Time as Hope
I may not cure your illness or change it,
But I promise,
I will be by your side,
holding your hands when you need strength. Pragyan Jyoti Borah
I may not always give you hope Asstt. Manager - BME
But I promise, Tezpur Cancer Centre
I will stand with you
through every Hopeless night,
as a gentle light of comfort and care, The sky grows heavy, dark and grey, warning of a
When you will feel alone, heavy thunderstorm.
Then comes the rain, pouring endlessly,
I will offer you my presence, A gentle yet powerful symphony of droplets.
A listening ear
and a compassionate Heart. It falls without hesitation,
Washing the dust from the earth
I promise, I will be there with you. And clearing the sky.
until the end....
Yet time, like the rain, waits for no one.
It does not pause for wishes,
Nor wait for unfulfilled hopes.
Both time and rain move forward,
Flowing like an endless river,
Following paths of their own.
Still, we choose to live with hope,
Seeking light beyond the shadows,
Finding melody amid life’s uncertainties.
And so, O God, as humans,
We can only give our very best.
The rest belongs to time,
And to Your divine will.
For hope is the light that guides us,
Even when storms darken our way,
Reminding us that every passing moment
Carries the promise of a brighter day.
